Third Seattle Symposium in Biostatistics: Statistical Genetics and Genomics

The University of Washington, Department of Biostatistics presents the Third Seattle Symposium in Biostatistics: Statistical Genetics and Genomics, to be held at the Sheraton Seattle Hotel and Towers in Seattle November 21-22. Presentations will encompass: * recent advances in population genetics * linkage analysis * DNA microarrays * functional genomics * genome analysis. The speakers are world leaders in these areas and come from a diverse range of backgrounds. The symposium will be preceded by short courses in microarray analysis and modern population genetics on Saturday, November 19 and Sunday, November 20, respectively.
