The Bioconductor project is pleased to announce that it has won the Insightful Innovation Award from the Insightful Corporation for "excellence in deploying innovative, analyticial solutions that produce intelligence for data."
SEATTLE - November 6, 2003 -

Insightful Corporation (NASDAQ: IFUL), a leading provider of software solutions for analysis of numeric and text data, announced today that it has awarded customers Time Distribution Services Inc. (NYSE:TWX), Great Lakes Dredge & Dock, Novartis (NYSE:NVS), Surromed, and the Federal Aviation Administration, Civil Aerospace Medical Institute with Insightful Innovation Awards for commercial leadership in data analysis. Academic recipients included The Bioconductor Group (including Sandrine Dudoit, Berkeley University, Rafael Irizarry, Johns Hopkins University, Vincent Carey and Robert Gentleman, Harvard School of Public Health) and Jae Lee and Nitin Jain of the University of Virginia.
